May Product Update

In advice, it’s often the loose ends that take the time.
The meeting has been captured, but the CRM still needs updating. A form is waiting for details that already exist somewhere else. A cashflow model has been built, but the useful parts still need to make their way into the advice.
In a market where adviser capacity is already under pressure, those loose ends matter more than they look.
May’s Product Update is aimed at those little bits of work that tend to hang around after the main job is done, with updates across Athena, Worksorted, Forms, Strategy Assist and RetireMap.
You may have also noticed Paradino looks a little fresher. The changes are subtle, but the aim is practical: make the product feel easier to move through, so advisers can get from one part of the workflow to the next with less friction.
What's in this month’s update
- Athena updates across research, document targeting, chat history and graphs in Workspace
- the new Worksorted Connector
- Forms, a new way to populate PDFs using client context
- Strategy Assist performance improvements
- RetireMap MCP for cashflow modelling inside Paradino
Athena Gets Sharper
Athena now knows where to look across the places advisers already work: generated documents, the client Knowledge Base and Workspace.
Enhanced research across the client record
Athena’s research capabilities have been improved across generated documents and the client Knowledge Base.
That means Athena can work more accurately from the client record and history. For example, advisers can ask for an SoA audit or client insights without manually piecing the context together.
@documents for targeted search
Advisers can now type @ inside the chat to bring up a list of documents related to that client.
From there, they can select a specific document and ask Athena to search or work from that source. Handy when you know where the answer should come from.
Agent Chat traffic light system
Agent Chat now gives users a clearer view of how hard Athena is working.
A small traffic-light style indicator shows whether a request is sitting comfortably, starting to stretch, or asking a lot from the system.
A small cue for a familiar decision: keep going, narrow the question, or ask it differently.
Graphs in Workspace
Athena can now generate graphs directly in Workspace, turning data from the client record into visuals without leaving Paradino.
Full chat history in Workspace
Users can now access the full chat history in Workspace, making it easier to return to previous questions, answers and working context.
Because useful thinking often happens across a conversation, not in one perfect prompt.
For users this means less hunting, less repeating and more confidence that Athena is working from the right material.
Worksorted Connector: keep the CRM closer to the work
For practices using Worksorted, the new Worksorted Connector keeps the CRM closer to the work happening in Paradino.
Your team can search and link Worksorted clients from inside Paradino, then push generated meeting summaries and advice documents into Worksorted as client notes, with the document attached.
Put simply, it helps stop advisers copying the same work into another system.
Worksorted does not support auto-sync, so documents are pushed when your team clicks Sync. Owners can also manage note category mappings, so meeting summaries and advice documents land in the right place with less filing after the fact.
You can read the setup guide in the Worksorted Connector docs.
Forms: because nobody likes filling out PDFs
The worst part of important forms isn’t filling them out — it’s starting from scratch with information that already exists somewhere else.
Forms helps Athena carry client context into PDF forms, using information already in the client’s Knowledge Base.
Upload the form, tell Athena what you want filled and which source material to use, then review the populated fields before opening the final PDF.
Forms can work with fillable PDFs, flat PDFs and clear scanned forms up to 20 MB. It works best when the client record has clear, recent material to draw from, such as fact finds, meeting summaries, advice documents, product information or supporting documents.
The adviser still reviews, edits and confirms the final form before use. That part stays with the adviser. But the work can start from the context already captured, rather than a blank PDF and a quiet little sigh.
You can learn more in the Forms guide.
Strategy Assist: the Road Runner upgrade
Strategy Assist has had a performance upgrade this month, improving the speed and capability of the workflow.
Same Strategy Assist. A little more beep beep.
When advisers move from client context into advice preparation, the experience should feel faster and more responsive, with less waiting between steps.
For advisers, that means a smoother move from the information gathered to the documentation that follows.
RetireMap: cashflow modelling inside Paradino
With RetireMap MCP, advisers can now generate cashflow modelling inside Paradino, without jumping back into RetireMap to start the modelling work.
The modelling is still powered by RetireMap’s financial modelling engine. The benefit is that modelling context can sit closer to the client record, strategy work and advice preparation already happening in Paradino.
Less jumping between modelling and documentation. A cleaner path from the numbers to the advice.
