June Product Update

June was about one idea: an end-to-end advice workflow that can keep moving in the background, while the adviser stays firmly in control of the decisions that matter.

This update introduces our second generation advice agent for SoA and RoA workflows.

What’s in this update

  • The second generation of Athena
  • Semi-autonomous SoA and RoA workflows
  • Granular notifications by email and in-app

Athena has a new engine

From AI-assisted to semi-autonomous advice work.

The first generation of Athena was built for AI-assisted advice work. It helped advisers draft, structure and refine documents, but the adviser was still tethered to the keyboard: prompting the next step, checking what was ready and keeping the document moving.

The second generation goes further.

Once a Statement of Advice or Record of Advice is started, Athena can plan the document, pull relevant client data, use strategy scenarios and research, and assemble more of the draft using grounded source material.

More work can happen in parallel

The shift is from assistance to progression. More of the SoA and RoA workflow can now move in the background, while the adviser stays in the loop when their judgement is required.

An adviser can start an SoA, move to another client, review a meeting or take a call while Athena continues the draft.

Semi-autonomous does not mean unsupervised.

When the work reaches a point that needs adviser review, a decision or sign-off, Athena brings the adviser back in.

Notifications keep the work visible

Paradino also sends granular notifications when key stages are reached, including when information is ready, strategies have been developed, an SoA draft is complete, or a decision is needed.

Notifications are available in-app and by email, helping advisers and support teams stay across the work without watching a progress bar. More importantly, nothing is finalised without adviser review and sign-off.
