September Product Update: Make More of Paradino

The best time to learn what a tool can do is when you’re trying to use it.
Meet Dino
As Paradino grows, knowing the best way to ask for something can take a little practice. Dino is Paradino’s new Chat Coach. He appears inside the chat when a practical tip could help.
If Athena is having trouble finding a document, Dino might suggest pinning it to the conversation. If a request is not producing the result you need, he can point you towards a better approach.
The help arrives while you are working, in the place where you need it.
Dino is available across Workspace, Meeting Summaries and Strategy Assist. He is turned on by default, but only appears when he has a useful tip. Users who prefer some company can set him to remain visible from the Chat Coach tab in settings.
And yes, he is a Parasaurolophus.
Your work shouldn’t disappear into a chat
Documents created in Workspace used to remain inside the conversation where they were generated. You could download the result, but finding it again meant returning to that chat.
Workspace Documents changes that.
Ask Athena to create something in Workspace and the result now opens in a dedicated document panel beside the conversation. It remains available from the client Workspace, alongside meeting summaries and advice documents. Recent work can also be opened from the Paradino homepage.
You can edit the content directly or ask Athena to refine it. Once it is ready, download it or send it to a connected CRM. Practices using Microsoft 365 can also save it to the client’s linked OneDrive or SharePoint folder.
The result becomes part of the client record, rather than an output left behind in a previous conversation.
Start with what Paradino already knows
A Workspace Document can draw on material already held in the client Knowledge Base.
Select the relevant template, add your instructions and point Athena towards the source material you want it to use. You can also pin a particular file when the document needs to be based on one source.
A meeting recording is not required. Existing client documents or text added to the conversation can provide the starting point.
This opens up uses beyond meeting summaries. A practice might create an advice summary from an existing SoA or bring several client documents together into a fuller fact-find.
The template provides the structure. Athena uses the information available in Paradino to prepare the content.
Long documents shouldn’t run out of room
A short client summary asks something very different of Athena than a detailed fact-find.
Athena now recognises when a Workspace Document requires a longer response. It divides the document into sections and generates them in parallel, helping prevent content from being cut short.
There is no need to shorten a detailed template to fit the chat.
Once generated, the full document opens in the editing panel. It can be reviewed as one piece, then refined manually or with Athena.
Some advice is easier to see
Flowcharts can help a client understand a strategy that would take several paragraphs to explain.
Visual generation in Paradino has received a major upgrade. You can ask Athena to create a flowchart, diagram or image using plain language. The prompt can include colours, layout preferences or a particular visual style.
Once the image is ready, it can be downloaded or placed straight into a document. Tell Athena which heading it should sit beneath and the visual will be added to that section.
This works in Workspace, Meeting Summaries and Strategy Assist.
Generated visuals can vary from one request to the next. A detailed prompt gives Athena clearer boundaries. Once a practice finds an approach that works, the instructions can be saved in the Practice Prompt Library for others to use.
Image generation is currently limited to 10 images per user each day while we monitor how the feature is used.
What customers need to know
Dino is available by default and appears only when a tip may be useful. To keep him visible, open Settings, then select Chat Coach.
Unlimited Workspace Documents require the Pro plan. Pro also includes an unlimited Knowledge Base.
Workspace Documents can be edited inside Paradino and downloaded when complete. Customers with a supported connection can send generated documents to their CRM. Microsoft 365 customers can save them to OneDrive or SharePoint.
