Transform Your Statements of Advice into Engaging Client Presentations with Paradino

In our latest feature walkthrough, Jeremy from Paradino takes us through a powerful tool designed to save advisers time and improve client engagement: Advice Presentations.

We know that walking a client through a dense Statement of Advice (SOA) document can sometimes be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve built a feature within Strategy Assist that automatically transforms your SOA into a clean, professional slide deck. Whether you need to visualise data, apply firm branding, or export for offline use, Advice Presentations has you covered.

Getting Started

Creating a presentation is seamless. Once you have generated a Statement of Advice within the platform, simply navigate to the Strategy Assist section. You will see an "Advice Presentation" button appear.

Clicking this button triggers the generation process. In just a minute or two, the system parses your SOA and builds a comprehensive slide deck (typically around 20 slides) covering everything from goals and objectives to asset allocation charts and cash flow projections.

Multiple Viewing Options

To suit your workflow, the interface offers three distinct views:

• Grid View: Perfect for a high-level overview of the entire deck.
• Slideshow View: A presentation-ready mode designed for client meetings, compatible with standard arrow keys and escape commands.
• List View: A side-by-side layout that allows you to view slides while simultaneously interacting with the Athena chat interface for real-time editing.

The Power of Athena AI

One of the standout features of Advice Presentations is the integration of Athena, our AI assistant. Located on the left-hand side of the screen, Athena allows you to make deck-level changes using natural language commands.

For example, if a slide contains too much text—such as a complex strategy explanation—you can simply ask Athena to "turn the dot points into a flow chart." The AI will instantly reformat the data into a visual diagram. You can also use Athena to delete specific slides, reorder content, or rewrite text to be more concise.

Custom Branding and Themes

Your presentations should look and feel like your firm. By clicking the Manage Themes button, you have full control over the visual identity of your slides. You can:

• Create and name new themes (e.g., "Jeremy - Paradino").
• Upload your company logo/brand mark.
• Customise core colorus (backgrounds, text, accents).
• Adjust typography, including font families, sizing, and alignment.

Once you click "Apply," the theme will update your current presentation and can be set as the default for all future decks generated by the system.

Export to PowerPoint

While the built-in presentation tools are robust, we understand that sometimes you need to make manual tweaks offline. You can easily export your entire deck as a PowerPoint file. The download preserves your layout, charts, and content, allowing you to make final adjustments directly in PowerPoint if preferred.
